Quality Assured As part of our commitment to ongoing product development and quality Marshall Freeman Collections are certified & comply with ISO9001:2008 standards for Quality Management.

Our certification can be viewed by searching the JAS-ANZ Website, the Australian and New Zealand government appointed body for accreditation.

Local Laws

Our staff receive specialised training to understand localised laws regarding issues of privacy, trade practices and ethical collection techniques to ensure we comply with all government regulations. We maintain a professional, firm approach at all times.

Funds held in Trust

Monies collected on behalf of our clients are held in separate trust or suspense accounts and audited before final disbursal. To protect clients and debtors we regularly perform external audits of our trust / suspense accounts to safeguard financial transactions and hold the following government licences:

  • Commercial Agents licence (QLD) # 4334443 (Australia)
  • Consumer Credit Licence # 545548 (United Kingdom)
  • Although no government licence is required in New Zealand, Marshall Freeman employs strict standards in regards to the handling of collected monies

Computer Use & Security

User actions are recorded and audited by our computer management systems. Major investments have been made to ensure security and performance of our information systems. Based on leading edge backend technologies such as SQL database, apache http and mysql / php frontends our system features over 100 completely automated event driven procedures. This ensures all routine steps are automatic and take place without user intervention.

Computerised data is maintained in secure environments which are constantly monitored for potential unauthorised access and inappropriate use. Information systems are backed up daily and taken off-site for maximum redundancy.
